most give their own shots- it’s easy to do – you need a sharp
needle and make sure your vaccine has stayed chilly- if you
know a farmer asks them how to do it. Or go to a farmers feed
store and ask them to show you how.

I pretty much do the same except for giving vaccinations. I haven’t had our girls vaccinated since they came to us from our daughter 2 years ago. Vet always asks, I just say I don’t know what my daughter has done and they accept that. They don’t need to know we have them permanently now!
I give the heartworm, flea and worming and lots of supplements which keep them fit and healthy.
