THE FUSION DEAL: TRUMP’s Truth Social, the parent company, just makes a $6 billion deal with TAE, a nuclear fusion energy company.
That story, by itself, is pretty weird. The President goes into business with a company whose valuation and future can be positively impacted by White House policy and Presidential bloviation.
Speaking of which: There is now a bill up in Congress to create an Office of Fusion Energy as part of the Department of Energy.

THE FUSION MURDER: At just about the same time as the business deal, Professor Nuno Loureiro is murdered. He was the director of MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center.

He was a major figure in fusion research.

How often do you hear about 2 major nuclear fusion stories within the same 2 or 3 day span?

The murdered MIT researcher, Laureiro, was a major figure in a field that is small. There aren’t a whole lot of high level fusion researchers around.

People are asking—and they should—was the murder of the MIT researcher Laureiro (by the same man, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, who killed two students at Brown University) a way of shutting up Professor Laureiro and shutting him down?

Did he have something crucial to say about fusion energy? Did he know something few other people do? Was he about to go public?

There are all kinds of possible points he could make.

For instance:
The company Trump is partnering with, TAE…isn’t on the verge of making fusion energy a commercial reality. That’s hype. Fusion energy is still experimental. It’s a long way from affordable commercial use. And there are technological hurdles to overcome. Major ones.

The fusion reactors TAE has built are experimental. They’re not commercial. They aren’t continuously running.

These facts, if emphasized publicly by a fusion expert, could cool down and discourage all sorts of potential investors.

On the other hand, if the MIT fusion researcher, Laureiro, knew about a recent breakthrough in fusion that few people knew about…maybe he was thinking of going public with that. Which would bring many more players to the fusion table.

Competitors to the Trump-TAE partnership.

Two big fusion stories suddenly collide. Murder and a business deal. What are the odds of a coincidence? They seem long.

Why the sudden escalating interest in fusion energy? Because all those AI data centers that Trump and Big Tech princes want built require huge amounts of energy. Where are they going to get it?

If fusion energy were a reality, that’s where they could get it.

The AI takeover HAS TO HAVE energy to power it. People are looking for that energy. The Trump-TAE deal is an illustration of looking, funding, and yes, hyping.

As of this writing, the story we’re being fed is: the Brown University/MIT killer knew MIT’s Laureiro, the man he killed. Some 30 years ago, they were at school together, both studying physics. Is that true? If so, how does it explain the murder? Unknown.

There are a lot of unknowns here.
I expect more official narrative in the coming days. Will we be told that the MIT killer and his MIT victim not only knew each other many years ago, but there was some sort of conflict between them—and a grudge the killer irrationally carried forward all these years?

And that’s why he killed his old schoolmate?

And will this function as a cover story concealing that the MIT researcher was murdered to silence him? Because he was about to blow a whistle that couldn’t be ignored?

As of this writing, FOX is reporting sources claim the Brown/MIT killer had offshore bank accounts. Why?
Where was the money coming from? So far, there are no reports the killer had a job.

Was someone bankrolling him? If so, for what purpose? Were they hiring him to commit murder?
Speaking of bankrolling, a Brown University website states: “Brown’s $7.2 billion endowment comprises funds donated by individuals to the University with the intention that the principal be invested and provide an ongoing income stream to support the University’s educational purposes.”

But apparently no money for video cameras in the lecture room where 2 students were just murdered. So there is no direct video evidence of who shot and killed them.

There is a law enforcement agency story. Which we’re supposed to accept without thinking.
