Benjamin,

The story I’m hearing about Air Force general  Dan Caine leaving the White House… is that on Saturday night (local time), Trump wanted to invoke the nuclear codes as deterrent against Iran during the ceasefire talks in Islamabad. Caine reportedly refused, invoking Article  92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), the clause that has to do with duty to refuse an unlawful order.
